Our Favorite Downtown Lincoln Restaurants

Many people assume that Omaha has all the best restaurants. After all the city is home to legendary eateries like The Drover and Sullivan’s Steakhouse. However, we think the options in downtown Lincoln are just as flavorful while being slightly closer to home. Here are some of our favorite spots in downtown Lincoln.

YiaYia’s Pizza Beer and Wine

If you’re coming in from Gretna, Yiayia’s is right on the way. They offer a wonderful selection of handmade gourmet pizzas and craft brews that you can enjoy in the restaurant or out on the terrace.

Grey Whale Sushi and Grill

Travelers from Bellevue can get off I-80 at 9th and head to the Grey Whale, the home of authentic Japanese dishes, sushi, California Rolls and, of course, Bento Boxes for those who want to try a little of everything.

They specialize in small batch baking, single slice cake treats, and even gluten and dairy-free options for those with dietary sensitivities.
