This strongly suggests that iOS 26.2 addresses the compatibility issue between certain iPhones and Honda’s wireless Apple CarPlay system.

Been having issue with my screen freezing and disconnecting and not able to connect back multiple times. I’ve rebooted it and all. I’m currently having issue with not able to reconnect again and apple CarPlay not working.

I have updated my iPhone to current iOS 26.5 software.
why is not working?
I am also having an issue with CarPlay not working. It would intermittently cut out, and this weekend it just stopped working after I had a rental car (not Honda) but when I returned home it just would not connect. I’ve tried everything, disconnecting, updating, you name it! My Honda 2026 CRV just won’t connect.
I have a Honda CRV 2023 – Suddenly my I Phone 16 Pro Max with IOS 26.5 Will not pair with the Honda System so I can use Car Play! In fact the clock in the Honda is now off by an hour. I have tried deleting the device and re-pairing it to no avail. The maps will not display and I have trouble repairing the device when i delete it !
My Dad’s iphone12 ver 26.5 is trying to connect to carplay and never succeeds. I have no problem connecting my iphone 15 ver26.5 to carplay. I have removed all iphones and started again with just my Dad’s phone. Bluetooth pairs successfully and i get prompt to enable carplay and select it then get message unable to connect to Dad’s iphone. I have renamed the the iphone and redone the process with same results. Any help appreciated.
Started having same issue as Mr Lamb. I have a 2024 crv . My iPhone wireless carplay connection had been working fine. Only connects with USB now. My iPhone 14 can’t iPhone 14 plus does work. Is this an iOS update or Honda software update that is causing this issue?
